Marcus Rashford has been advised to work on changing his body language. Jamie Carragher believes that Rashford could benefit from emulating the likes of Steven Gerrard and Trent Alexander-Arnold by changing his body language. Three of Rashford’s five goals have come in United’s last four Premier League games, with Carragher suggesting that there is room for improvement in developing Rashford’s leadership skills to be more like Gerrard or Alexander-Arnold. Carragher specifically mentions that Rashford does not need to be like Roy Keane, but instead should lead and show character in a different way.

He emphasizes the need for Rashford to change his body language and become the type of leader that people want him to be. In addition, Carragher highlights Trent Alexander-Arnold’s change in demeanor on the pitch as he is getting older. Roy Keane also compared his time at United to the current situation, suggesting that Rashford could benefit from “tough love” from his teammates. Keane emphasized the importance of having a core group of players who can give tough love, which he believes is lacking at Manchester United for Marcus Rashford and is one of the team’s problems.

The recommendation for Rashford is to adjust his body language and leadership style to be more effective on and off the pitch.
