Liverpool star Thiago has reportedly suffered a muscle injury just days after making his return from a 10-month absence. He is believed to have picked up the fresh problem in the final moments of Liverpool’s Premier League defeat against Arsenal.<\/p>\n
This injury occurred in his first appearance of the season, playing the final five minutes against Arsenal. It is reported that Thiago ‘felt’ an issue in a muscle and could be sidelined again.<\/p>\n
The duration of his absence due to this injury is currently unclear. Thiago had just returned to full training after undergoing hip surgery last May.<\/p>\n
He had missed eight top-flight games between February and April and only played his final game of the 2022-23 term on April 30. He then underwent a ‘minor procedure’ a month later, resulting in a tough 10 months on the sidelines.<\/p>\n
Head coach Jurgen Klopp was hoping to have the 32-year-old available for the Premier League run-in. However, this latest injury has cast doubt on his availability for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n
Liverpool is hopeful that Thiago’s fresh injury is only a minor setback. It is possible that this could be a small problem on his road to full recovery.<\/p>\n
