Chelsea se dispone a romper otro récord de transferencia del club para reemplazar a la pareja de manera definitiva

Mauricio Pochettino is planning to bring in a new goalkeeper for Chelsea. It is expected that the club will make more moves in the summer, with a new goalkeeper being a priority for Pochettino. Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was signed for £72 million in 2018, is currently on loan at Real Madrid. Reports suggest that Real Madrid is not looking to make his move permanent and Chelsea is considering exceeding the fee they paid for him, which is a world record for a goalkeeper.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper has performed well in Serie A and has gained the attention of several European clubs. However, his contract with the Italian club does not expire until 2026 and they are not willing to let him go easily. Serbian goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic is currently deputising for Chelsea but is not seen as a long-term solution for Pochettino. Chelsea will need to approve sales before making big signings.

The club has spent over £1 billion and could face sanctions if they fail to raise funds due to new FFP regulations.
