Manchester United evita una pesadilla con Lisandro Martínez mientras los Red Devils conocen la actualización de lesiones

Lisandro Martinez sustained a knee injury during the game against West Ham over the weekend, but reports indicate that he will not need surgery for the injury. Manchester United has been in good form, winning four of their last five matches. Even though Martinez’s injury initially seemed serious, it has been confirmed that he sprained a collateral ligament and is expected to be sidelined for one-and-a-half to two months. There is no need for surgery, and he might return in late March.

In the game against West Ham, Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho scored to secure a 3-0 win for Manchester United. However, Martinez had to leave the game in the 71st minute due to the injury. Erik ten Hag expressed concern about the injury and stated that the team will have to wait for the diagnosis, showing empathy for Martinez’s situation. Martinez’s absence due to injury has become a cause for concern for Manchester United, as he has only made eight Premier League appearances this season.

The club may need to strengthen their defensive depth in the summer, potentially resulting in reinforcements at the expense of Jonny Evans and Raphael Varane. Sir Jim Ratcliffe is expected to lead a squad renovation, with improvements anticipated at both ends of the pitch.
