Jurgen Klopp chooses next project after Liverpool with German set to depart UK

Jurgen Klopp, the 56-year-old Liverpool manager, is embarking on a major family-based project. He is having two new properties built, one in his hometown of Wiesbaden and another in Mallorca, his favorite holiday location. The home in Germany is being constructed to be close to family, as Klopp and his wife Ulla have recently become grandparents. Additionally, the project abroad in Mallorca has faced delays, prompting Klopp to express his desire to get involved and speed up the proceedings.

In June 2022, Klopp purchased a luxurious property for £3.4 million in Mallorca from Swiss businessman and artist Rolf Knie, indicating his plans for future recreational time. Klopp’s wife has been handling the organization of the project due to his commitments at Liverpool, where he has had a successful tenure overseeing his team win numerous major trophies. Klopp acknowledged his decision to step back from his managerial role at Liverpool due to feeling drained and in need of a break. Despite this announcement, Liverpool faces upcoming important matches, including a League Cup final with Chelsea, an FA Cup fifth-round tie with Southampton, and being favorites to win the Europa League.

With Klopp’s new family projects and Liverpool’s upcoming fixtures, it is evident that he will be managing different kinds of tasks in the near future.
