Ten Hag believes the future is bright for Manchester United after their draw with Liverpool. Sir Jim Ratcliffe won’t feel like he can directly impact Manchester United’s fortunes on the pitch until next season. He admitted he’s “impatient” in his search for success and completed his investment in February.

The Red Devils earned a 2-2 draw against title-chasing rivals Liverpool, despite being below-par. They lost a late lead in the third consecutive match. Also, they surrendered one-goal leads in the 97th minute against Brentford and the 100th minute against Chelsea in a disastrous double header in west London.

Ratcliffe witnessed a 3-2 United win turn into a 4-3 defeat in the dying embers at Stamford Bridge. His first live game after officially becoming co-owner was Tottenham Hotspur’s visit to Old Trafford in January, which ended in a 2-2 draw. He has yet to see the team win in person since his investment.
