Willy Kambwala worked hard. Willy Kambwala impressed on his second senior start and first at Old Trafford against Liverpool last Sunday. The 19-year-old centre-back started back-to-game games for the first time against Bournemouth and struggled early on against an elite focal point in Dominic Solanke.
Kambwala was left isolated for the Cherries’ opener after United easily lost the ball in midfield. Solanke easily turned the teenager to fire home from range, causing problems as the game went on. He recovered well to start the move for Fernandes’ first equaliser.
However, it was a tough afternoon for Kambwala and the rest of the United team. This may include adverts from us and 3rd parties based on our understanding. You can unsubscribe at any time.
