Ange Postecoglou expresses his thoughts on Tottenham wonderkid with decisive action.

The Spurs boss has shown his confidence in the young talent by including him in the first-team sessions for a full week. At just 16 years old, Moore is highly regarded in the football community, and Tottenham managed to secure his commitment despite interest from other Premier League and European clubs. Moore played a significant role in Tottenham’s U18s and U17s teams winning the Premier League Cups last season under Stuart Lewis’ guidance. His stats for Tottenham’s U18s are impressive, with 16 goals and nine assists in 14 games.

Moreover, in the U18s Premier League, Moore has consistently scored or assisted in matches, with only a few exceptions. He has also achieved success with England’s U17s in their European Championship qualifiers. However, his progress was hindered by injuries, including a broken leg and an ankle ligament injury. Now fully recovered, Moore has benefitted from extended exposure to the first-team environment under Postecoglou, following earlier training with the Australian coach.

During the current break, the teenager trained with the first team and impressed the coaches, earning the opportunity to train alongside established players. Despite his achievements, his development is ongoing, with U21s football being the next step to continue challenging himself against older, stronger players. Overall, this latest development marks a positive step in a challenging season filled with unexpected hurdles for the young player.
