United are set to use the Saudi market to raise funds for their own transfer targets. Pro League sides have been raiding European football in a bid to bring star names to their top-flight and are expected to target big-name players in the next transfer window.
Reportedly, Raphael Varane, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Casemiro are being lined up for moves to the Middle East. Varane, who is likely to leave when his contract expires, has been linked with Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr.
Al-Nassr is also tracking Wan-Bissaka, who has struggled to hold down a regular place under the current boss. Casemiro is another Saudi target, with the Real Madrid icon having struggled for form and fitness.
United are braced for the departure of Anthony Martial and are unlikely to offload Casemiro to another European club. Speculation is also mounting over Marcus Rashford’s future at the club.
Manager Ten Hag’s future at the club remains uncertain as he has appeared frustrated and has refused to take questions over his future. United do have an FA Cup final to look forward to, but changes and player sales are expected, with the ambition to get the club challenging at the top end of English and European football again.
