Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has been busy during the January transfer window, with several players reportedly set to leave the club. Ivan Perisic is on the verge of being loaned to Hajduk Split for the rest of the season, making him the seventh player to depart from Tottenham this month. Perisic has made limited appearances for Spurs and his most recent one was in mid-September, where he provided an assist. However, his season was cut short due to an ACL injury that required surgery. It is possible that Perisic’s cameo against Sheffield United was his last in a Tottenham shirt. The move to Hajduk Split, Perisic’s hometown club, is said to be progressing well and is in its final stages. Spurs are willing to let Perisic go on loan until the summer to remove him from the wage bill, with the option for Hajduk Split to sign him permanently. Previously, the move was dependent on Perisic’s fitness, but there is no firm return date for him. Hugo Lloris has also left Tottenham, joining Los Angeles FC permanently, while Eric Dier is on loan at Bayern Munich. Sergio Reguilon, Djed Spence, and Japhet Tanganga have been loaned out to Brentford, Genoa, and Millwall respectively, leaving their futures uncertain. Ashley Phillips has joined Plymouth Argyle on loan until the end of the season but is expected to return to Spurs afterwards.
