Tottenham on the lookout for midfield reinforcements as Hojbjerg transfer looms, says Ange Postecoglou

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is reportedly looking at four young midfielders as the club prepares for the potential departure of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr’s performances have limited Hojbjerg’s playing time, and Juventus is said to be interested in the 28-year-old. Postecoglou is interested in bringing in a young midfielder to strengthen the squad. The club’s scouts have identified four potential targets: Arthur Vermeeren from Royal Antwerp, Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough, Adam Wharton from Blackburn Rovers, and Noel Buck, a MLS teenager born in Massachusetts but representing England at the youth level. Tottenham’s interest in Buck is longstanding and the club could obtain him for as little as £6 million. Meanwhile, January signings Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin have already made their debuts and might feature in the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Manchester City.
