According to Bild, the German giants have made contact with Ajax to discuss a January move. Bergwijn scored 12 Eredivisie goals last season and is on course to exceed that total this term. He has the pace and cutting-edge that Postecoglou values. Tuchel has a fondness for ex-Spurs stars, with Eric Dier now at the Allianz Arena.
Adding Bergwijn threatens to leave Spurs red-faced if Bayern succeed. Postecoglou reportedly aims to recruit another attacker before the January transfer window closes.
