Two players of Man Utd would oppose a return of Jose Mourinho as boss seeks second chance

Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in returning to Manchester United for a second stint as the club’s manager. His ambition to return is fueled by a sense of unfinished business after his previous tenure ended on a sour note. The prospect of working under Sir Jim Ratcliffe, following his departure from Roma last month, appeals to Mourinho. Reportedly, he has made it his mission to go back to the club.

However, his potential return is unlikely to sit well with some of the current players. Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw had faced criticism from Mourinho during his previous tenure. He questioned Rashford’s attitude and reprimanded him publicly, and he frequently criticized Shaw in public during his time at the club. Mourinho’s treatment of the players was notorious, and he called out a host of them for being “spoiled,” including Anthony Martial, who is now likely to leave the club when his contract expires in the summer.

Mourinho’s previous comments about the players have not been forgotten, and his potential return may create tensions within the team.
