Four Liverpool players expected to suffer as Klopp’s team tries to bounce back

Liverpool’s squad is dealing with the return of several players in their next match against Burnley. Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah missed the last game due to injury, Conor Bradley was absent for family reasons, and Wataru Endo was away on international duty. There is hope that these players will be back for the match against Burnley.

However, with Thiago Alcantara back in the lineup, there is intense competition in the midfield, and players like Gravenberch may face the risk of losing playing time. Defensive-minded midfielder McConnell has made an impact in his first senior start, but with the return of senior options, he may not start another match this season. McConnell, who is only 19, will aim to impress in training for a chance to play in the Europa League.

Kostas Tsimikas, who deputised for Andy Robertson, is now back in training. However, Robertson’s return and Joe Gomez’s excellent performance this season may limit Tsimikas’s opportunities in the Premier League. Liverpool rejected loan interest in 18-year-old midfielder Bobby Clark, showing their commitment to developing him.

However, Clark’s involvement has mainly been due to injuries in the squad, and his chances of more Premier League action depend on the team’s fitness. Liverpool’s predicted full-strength lineup includes key players like Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, and Salah, while players like Endo, Thiago, and Elliott are anticipated to be on the bench.
