Transfer Boost for Liverpool and Chelsea as Newcastle Plans to ‘Snatch’ Bargain Emerges

Liverpool and Chelsea may have received a boost in their pursuit of Newcastle playmaker Bruno Guimaraes. The playmaker has been linked with a summer transfer, and it seems that Newcastle is already considering potential replacements. Guimaraes has been a key player for Newcastle, as demonstrated by his impressive performance against Nottingham Forest. His standout display has drawn attention from top clubs across Europe, including Liverpool and Chelsea.

Guimaraes is reportedly available for around £100million, a sum that could be within reach for the two English clubs. Both Liverpool and Chelsea have reportedly shown interest in the former Lyon star, and they can take encouragement from Newcastle’s pursuit of reinforcements in midfield for the upcoming transfer window. Guimaraes has been in top form, with five goals and one assist in 22 Serie A appearances this season. Newcastle is determined to secure his signature, reportedly willing to pay around £23million to bring him in from Atalanta.

While Juventus is also interested, Newcastle hopes that the prospect of regular Premier League football will sway Guimaraes to choose England over Serie A.

Newcastle may also leverage Guimaraes to convince his international teammate Ederson to join the club. Despite the potential transfer of Guimaraes, Newcastle is still expected to make moves to address their Financial Fair Play situation, potentially involving the return of Sandro Tonali to first-team action and sales in midfield.
