In 1992, Joe Kinnear took charge of Wimbledon. During a 2021 interview with the Telegraph, Kinnear’s wife Bonnie revealed that her husband has been battling dementia. She noticed changes in his behavior such as moodiness, depression, and aggression, which led her to seek medical help.
In 2015, he was diagnosed with early onset vascular dementia, and since then, his condition has progressively worsened. Bonnie expressed that it has been heart-breaking to witness the changes in Joe, who was once vibrant and loved interacting with people.
