Despite blowing numerous opportunities in their draw at Old Trafford, Liverpool managed 28 shots and 62% possession. Manager Jurgen Klopp expressed frustration at the wastefulness of his players, singling out the absence of Diogo Jota as a major factor. Jota, who has scored 14 goals in 18 starts for the club this season, has been sidelined since February 17 due to a knee injury.

This is not the first time Jota has faced a layoff this season. After returning from a previous injury, he impressed by scoring in a match and was praised by Klopp as a vital player for the team. Klopp confirmed that Jota will soon return to full training, along with several other sidelined players, as Liverpool still have seven league games to play.

The team is preparing for their Europa League fixtures in addition to their upcoming Premier League match against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
