Harry Kane Takes Aim at Arsenal After Bayern Munich Snatch Draw at Emirates

On an enthralling night of European action, Bukayo Saka scored to put Arsenal ahead. Former Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry later leveled the scores. Kane’s penalty then put Bayern ahead 2-1 in north London, with the English captain scoring against his former rival for the 16th time in his career.

Trossard’s strike meant that Kane’s goal did not secure the win for Bayern. Arsenal will head to Munich for the second leg next Wednesday. After the game, Kane was interviewed by broadcaster TNT Sports.

Some Arsenal fans stayed behind to chant anti-Spurs songs in his direction. Asked about the attention from Arsenal fans, Kane quipped: “I think they have a soft respect for me.” Kane hinted that he knew Spurs fans would be keen to see him impress against Arsenal.

Following the match, Kane expressed disappointment at not scoring the match-winning goal. He felt that there were a couple of errors made by his teammates in the build-up, leading to Trossard’s goal. Overall, he described it as a tough game and stated that they are never happy when they don’t win, but considered it a tough point away from home.
