Since acquiring a 27.7 percent stake in the club, the INEOS co-founder has been actively working to restore the club’s former successes. According to The Athletic, the 71-year-old businessman has met with several managers, some of whom were present at a Grenadier launch event in London in February. Additionally, Ratcliffe has attended a group dinner where elite English football knowledge was discussed in an effort to enhance United’s fortunes.
Sir Dave Brailsford, a close confidant of Ratcliffe in their Old Trafford project, has been a frequent presence at Carrington this year, marking a departure from the past ownership’s approach.
