Liverpool may offload seven players, including Luis Diaz, to raise £155m for Ruben Amorim.

Ruben Amorim is poised to take over from Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, with Liverpool potentially looking to offload fringe players to raise funds for the Sporting boss. Negotiations are said to be ongoing with Amorim’s entourage, and reports suggest that he may be offered a substantial transfer budget upon his arrival in England. It is anticipated that Amorim will make tactical adjustments to the current squad and is expected to work with a mostly settled team. However, the situation with winger Luis Diaz remains uncertain as he has expressed a desire for a new contract, which has attracted interest from other clubs, including Barcelona and PSG.

There are speculations that Liverpool may consider selling Diaz if they do not meet his demands, with various clubs expressing interest in signing him. Additionally, players like Mohamed Salah, Caiomhin Kelleher, and Fabio Carvalho could also be offloaded for significant sums. Liverpool also has a number of fringe players, including Sepp van den Berg, Rhys Williams, and Nat Phillips, who are expected to be moved on to create more financial flexibility for the club.
