Sky Sports error: Arsenal and Liverpool outcomes against Wolves and Fulham ‘leaked’

Arsenal are set to face Wolves on Saturday. Chelsea’s 6-0 victory over Everton on Monday Night Football was followed by a broadcaster’s customary update on the league standings.

However, the broadcaster seemed to have factored in the results of two upcoming games, prompting criticism from fans. Liverpool’s statistics were also affected, with their game against Fulham seemingly already taken into account.

The premature allocation of three points to Fulham resulted in them being placed 10th in the table. Fans of various clubs mocked the situation, joking about the “leaked” outcomes of the upcoming matches.

Sky’s dominance in English football has waned in the past decade due to the emergence of TNT Sports. The Premier League recently finalized a four-year broadcasting deal with both companies, as well as the BBC, for the rights to show live matches and free-to-air highlights from the 2025/26 season onwards.

TNT Sports will cover 52 live matches per season.
