Jack Grealish accused of cheating as Man City player infuriates Vinicius Jr
In the second leg of their quarter-final match against Real Madrid at the Etihad, Grealish fell after a challenge from Vinicius on the edge of the Real Madrid’s 18-yard box. Video replays suggested contact between Vinicius’ outstretched right leg and Grealish’s right boot as he passed the ball to a teammate.
Despite this, referee Daniele Orsato did not award a foul, prompting frustration from Vinicius who appeared to gesture and shout at Grealish. Real Madrid were leading 1-0 at the time after a 12th-minute goal from Rodrygo, giving them a 4-3 lead on aggregate.
