Arsenal could potentially shake up the transfer market by pursuing a player highly favored by Erik ten Hag, stirring up further uncertainty for Manchester United. Although Arsenal might not be able to secure a player of Kevin De Bruyne’s caliber, there are reports of interest in signing Frenkie De Jong, who could add a midfield spark to the team. The current story hints that Bayern Munich is leading the chase for De Jong, with Barcelona potentially open to a significant offer due to financial constraints. While Manchester United was previously interested in the player, a deal didn’t materialize, and De Jong expressed his desire to stay at Barcelona.
If Arsenal aims to secure his services, they may need to persuade De Jong to change his mind about staying at Barcelona and consider a move to the Emirates Stadium.
