Emery has impressed since returning to the Premier League and is a serious candidate for the Bayern job. German outlet Bild has suggested that Bayern are considering an approach for Emery following Alonso’s decision to remain at Leverkusen.
This move could present a challenge for Liverpool, especially if Villa continues to improve under Emery next season. Additionally, Emery taking over from Thomas Tuchel has received approval from German legend Lothar Matthaus, who believes Emery is a good fit for Bayern.
Apart from Villa, other Premier League sides are also uncertain about their managers’ futures, with Bayern and Liverpool showing interest in Roberto De Zerbi, the current chief of Brighton & Hove Albion. De Zerbi expressed his challenges at the club earlier in the season, indicating an uncertain future.
