Liverpool have a great chance to find their own Erling Haaland by replacing Darwin Nunez.
Darwin Nunez, since joining Liverpool, has struggled to find his form. Amidst Jurgen Klopp’s farewell, Nunez has managed to stay under the radar. However, if Liverpool had an effective striker like Dominic Solanke leading their attack, they might still be in contention for the Premier League title.
Liverpool may regret allowing Solanke to join Bournemouth in 2019 for a relatively low fee of £19 million, as he has been prolific with 18 league goals this season. In contrast, Nunez has only scored 11 goals from 106 shots this season, highlighting his inefficiency in front of goal. Solanke, on the other hand, has shown a much higher conversion rate, scoring around one goal for every five shots.
