FPL Update: Latest on Fernandes, Rashford, Ederson, Eze and Martinez injuries for GW36

Injury problems are mounting at Old Trafford, with Erik ten Hag revealing that Fernandes is a doubt for his side’s trip to Selhurst Park on Monday night. Although Fernandes has never missed a United match due to injury, he is currently carrying a problem. Ten Hag did not entirely rule his skipper out, saying Fernandes is giving his best to be available for Monday’s game.
Eberechi Eze is another doubt for Monday night after picking up a knock against Newcastle last week. Despite his eagerness to play against Fulham over the weekend, manager Oliver Glasner ruled against it, not wanting to ‘risk it’. Eze featured for Palace’s Under-23s on Monday, playing 62 minutes without any fresh concerns. Marcus Rashford is confirmed to be very unlikely to feature in Gameweek 36, with no return date set for his fresh injury.
Ederson sustained a shoulder injury in City’s win over Nottingham Forest last weekend and Pep Guardiola was not optimistic about the issue. Emiliano Martinez did not feature in Villa’s recent defeat and remains a doubt for their upcoming clash with Brighton due to a hamstring problem. Magpies defender Trippier and Newcastle’s Fabian Schar are also injury doubts for their respective teams.
