Tosin will be out of contract in the summer as things stand, meaning the Reds could save millions of pounds by snapping him up on a free transfer. Liverpool have been tipped to improve their defensive ranks in the summer and have been linked with a number of high-profile names.
Tosin, meanwhile, could be an attractive option for Liverpool given the money they would save by bringing him to Anfield. The Fulham defender is reportedly set to be offered a bumper new deal at Craven Cottage in a last-ditch attempt to keep him at the club.
