Premier League Clubs Tottenham, Liverpool, and Newcastle Alert as Star Plans to Leave for Free

Tosin Adarabioyo, now 26, made eight senior appearances for the Sky Blues before joining Fulham in 2020. The towering 6ft 5in figure had already gained two seasons of vital Championship experience on loan at West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers. This prepared him to make an impact in west London, where he experienced relegation to the second tier in 2021/22 but also helped Fulham bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

With well over a century of Cottagers appearances on his CV, Adarabioyo has seemingly decided to pursue a new challenge when his contract expires this summer. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that, despite Fulham’s efforts, Adarabioyo has rejected their new contract proposals and informed the club of his decision to depart. He will officially become a free agent on July 1.

Reports suggest that Liverpool, Tottenham, and Newcastle are all interested in signing Adarabioyo. Liverpool is preparing for Jurgen Klopp’s departure and could face a shortage in defense if Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip also leave. Spurs have strength in central defense but adding Adarabioyo would provide greater squad depth with the hope of progressing in the coming season.

Newcastle is also in the mix, seeking bargain deals to adhere to the Premier League’s financial regulations. Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly is also reportedly of interest and will soon be available on a free transfer. Adarabioyo holds a Carabao Cup winners medal from his time at City and a Championship win with the Cottagers.

Although he was a regular with England at youth level, he is yet to make the step up to Gareth Southgate’s senior side.
