Manchester United reportedly turn down Inter Milan’s swap offer despite previous discussions with Erik ten Hag’s agent
Manchester United have reportedly rejected the opportunity to sign Inter Milan full-back Denzel Dumfries. It was rumored that Inter Milan was willing to let Dumfries go to Old Trafford in exchange for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but the offer was turned down by Manchester United. Despite a hamstring injury, Wan-Bissaka has still made 10 starts for the Red Devils this season. The club’s decision to extend Wan-Bissaka’s contract until 2025 shows how highly he is regarded by Ten Hag. The possibility of exchanging him for Dumfries was quickly dismissed. This marks a change in stance from Ten Hag, who was previously interested in Dumfries.
