Tottenham Star Demands Exit from Club Following Werner’s Impressive Debut

Tottenham winger Bryan Gil has reportedly requested a permanent buy option if he leaves on another loan deal this month. Gil has struggled to secure a regular spot in Ange Postecoglou’s starting XI and faces increased competition with the arrival of Timo Werner. There is interest in Gil from Real Sociedad, Sevilla, Feyenoord, and Fiorentina.

Gil has made it clear to the club and chairman Daniel Levy that he does not want another temporary loan deal. Instead, he wants a move that includes an option or obligation to buy, allowing him to take the next permanent step in his career. Despite not scoring a single goal in his 39 appearances for Tottenham, Gil wants to justify his price tag.

It is uncertain whether Tottenham will agree to Gil’s specific exit request or if he will need to remain with the club for the rest of the season. Gil has had his best performances in La Liga and became a full Spain international in 2021.

Tottenham has been active in the current transfer window, making permanent signings such as Werner and Radu Dragusin while also seeing players like Hugo Lloris and Eric Dier leave the club. Djed Spence has gone out on loan.
