Man Utd could potentially include Aaron Wan-Bissaka in two costly transfers as a bonus

Manchester United could take advantage of interest in Aaron Wan-Bissaka to start their summer transfer clear-out. With their current position in the Premier League and their elimination from the Champions League and EFL Cup, there is pressure on manager Erik ten Hag and questions about his recruitment strategy. Sir Jim Ratcliffe, owner of INEOS and orchestrator of the rebuild, wants to address these concerns. The plan is to sell certain players to fund new arrivals and make necessary changes to the squad. Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial, and Raphael Varane are among those expected to leave.

Interest from Al-Nassr in Wan-Bissaka presents a new opportunity for United. The Saudi side is preparing an offer for the right-back and wants to sign him as soon as possible. Although United did not anticipate selling Wan-Bissaka this week, establishing a good relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr could have potential financial benefits in the future. Additionally, Jadon Sancho and Antony have been linked with moves away from United, and there are reports that they have been offered to Saudi sides to raise transfer funds.

United would be willing to accept offers around £50 million for each of the wingers, a price that Al-Nassr could afford. If United is willing to negotiate a reasonable deal for Wan-Bissaka’s transfer to Al-Awwal Park Stadium, a relationship could be formed with Ronaldo’s side, leading to further collaboration in the future. This would potentially benefit the growth of Antony and Sancho, as they would become marquee names in the Saudi Pro League. The transfer fees received from their sales would also kickstart Ratcliffe’s summer spending spree.

While the sale of Wan-Bissaka would leave Ten Hag with a shortage of defensive options for the rest of the season, the long-term benefits must be carefully considered by those in charge at United.
