Reports suggest that Chelsea may pursue a transfer for Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran in January. This comes as the Blues are looking to add another forward option to their squad, and Duran’s profile as a young player with potential aligns with their transfer philosophy. Chelsea is said to have a genuine interest in Duran and are open to letting Armando Broja leave if his valuation of £50 million is met by another club.
Duran, who has struggled for game time at Villa behind Ollie Watkins, has been linked to Chelsea as a potential replacement for Broja. However, it remains uncertain if Duran would receive more playing opportunities at Chelsea, given the return of Nicolas Jackson and the availability of Christopher Nkunku.
