Newcastle presents £18m transfer solution for Chelsea and Man Utd, suggests rivals

The Magpies are reportedly considering selling the England international before the winter transfer window closes. This is part of their efforts to comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR). The striker has faced injuries and is no longer a guaranteed starter due to the good form of Alexander Isak. Despite this, he has been successful in scoring goals, with 18 Premier League goals last season and seven this season.

According to reports, Wilson could be available for £18m. Manchester United, on the other hand, have struggled to score, managing only 24 goals in 21 league games this season. Despite a high-profile signing of Rasmus Hojlund, who has only scored two Premier League goals, they have faced issues in the final third, with recent goalless defeats.

Goalscorers are typically in high demand and come with a hefty price tag. However, due to Wilson’s age and Newcastle’s apparent willingness to sell, there may be an opportunity to secure a bargain.
