He acknowledged their work on set-pieces but stressed the importance of player quality and having skilled takers. In terms of players, England star Chilwell recently returned after a four-month injury, while Enzo Fernandez and Reece James, who also take set-pieces, have been sidelined.
Pochettino stated satisfaction with the squad’s improvement over the last two months and asserted that they have the players they want.
