Jack Grealish, a 28-year-old football player who achieved the treble with Manchester City last season, has secured a new deal to boost his estimated net worth of £31 million. With this new partnership, Grealish aims to surpass the earnings of his teammate Erling Haaland, who won the Golden Boot. In addition to his collaboration with Pepsi, Grealish is already affiliated with brands such as Puma, Gucci, and Bose, serving as a brand ambassador for these companies. An anonymous source informed The Sun that the new Pepsi deal is expected to net Grealish a million pounds, as both he and his co-star Vinnie Jones have completed filming for an advertisement.
The ad, anticipated to be released later this year, is described as entertaining and follows in the footsteps of previous campaigns featuring renowned figures like David Beckham and Lionel Messi. Vinnie Jones, Grealish’s co-star, has had a successful acting career spanning over two decades, following his accomplishments in football, including winning the FA Cup with Wimbledon in 1988. Despite his achievements on the big screen, Jones’ net worth falls short of Grealish. Compared to his Manchester City colleagues, only Kevin De Bruyne boasts a higher net worth at £56 million.
Grealish also ranks as the team’s third-highest earner, with an annual salary of £16 million. However, despite his financial success, Grealish found himself at the center of controversy when Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola, opted to bench him for their Premier League match against Brentford, marking the fourth consecutive time he was left out. Grealish’s absence was reported to have prompted an early departure from training. His lack of starts is attributed to the return of key players from injury, like De Bruyne, Haaland, and Jeremy Doku.
Grealish has made 18 starts for City this season, and has been a substitute in all but five games. Looking ahead, Manchester City is set to face Everton at the Etihad, with the match scheduled for 12:30pm on TNT Sports.
