Liverpool player supports Klopp as Kelleher is injured in Burnley victory, causing a dilemma.

Liverpool secured a 3-1 win over Burnley to reclaim the top spot in the Premier League. Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, and Darwin Nunez scored for Liverpool, while Dara O’Shea netted a goal for Burnley.

Despite Liverpool’s illness-ridden squad, they managed to secure the win against Vincent Kompany’s team. There is much debate on whether Alexis Mac Allister should play as a defensive No 6 or a box-to-box No 8.

Starting in a more advanced role against Burnley, Mac Allister struggled to influence the game. He performed better when shifted back, prompting Klopp to consider deploying him in a deeper position in the future.

Stand-in goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher was stung by a goal from his international teammate Dara O’Shea, which marred his otherwise important appearance. Trent Alexander-Arnold was substituted at halftime, having provided an assist for Jota’s goal and reaching a personal milestone of 58 Premier League assists.

Burnley’s David Datro Fofana, who had earlier shown promise, missed crucial chances in the second half, resulting in a missed opportunity for his team. Liverpool capitalized on this, effectively sealing the victory.
