Ben White’s performance described as “embarrassing” by Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer as they criticize the Arsenal star.

Former England internationals Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer have criticized Arsenal’s Ben White for his play-acting antics during a recent match against Brighton. White’s behavior, where he went down dramatically after a minor interaction with Brighton’s Pervis Estupinan, has sparked debate and drawn widespread criticism. Despite Arsenal’s convincing 3-0 win over Brighton, White’s actions have become a focus of attention. During the game, White purposefully bumped into Estupinan, leading the latter to push him in the chest, but VAR did not intervene.

Lineker expressed his disapproval of White’s behavior, questioning the need for play-acting in the presence of extensive camera coverage and VAR. White’s critics, however, have not discouraged his importance to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team, given his versatility in their tactical setup.
