Man Utd player Kobbie Mainoo reportedly considered for Real Madrid transfer as double replacement targeted.

Mainoo has impressed many of his United teammates this season, standing out as a standout performer. On the other hand, Real Madrid is facing the potential departure of the legendary Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in the upcoming summer, as their contracts are due to expire. This opens up opportunities for replacements, with Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Federico Valverde being considered as strong options to fill the gap in Carlo Ancelotti’s midfield.

Real Madrid is on the lookout for a midfielder with the ability to progress the ball through the thirds with enhanced quality, with Mainoo emerging as a potential fit for this role. The club believes that he could excel in collaboration with Camavinga, as both players share the same representatives. Meanwhile, United is unlikely to part ways with their promising young player, as Mainoo has already secured a regular starting position in Erik ten Hag’s midfield and earned his first senior caps for England in March.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, sees Mainoo as a player who has the potential to shine for the team for many years to come. His performance alongside fellow academy graduate Willy Kambwala has further bolstered the team’s future prospects. On a separate note, Real Madrid has also been associated with a potential move for Chelsea wing-back Reece James, with the Blues potentially having to sell a high-value academy graduate in order to comply with profit and sustainability regulations.
