The threatening poster, released by the Al Azaim Foundation, shows an ISIS fighter in front of the stadiums and includes the words “Kill them all.” The Spanish government has activated security procedures for the two Champions League fixtures in Madrid. Reports suggest that more than 8,000 away fans are expected for the games in Madrid, with a 3,000-strong security team reportedly on patrol.
A week before the poster emerged, an ISIS-affiliated media outlet threatened an attack on the Allianz Arena during Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga clash against Borussia Dortmund.
