Rodrygo admitted that he had rejected the previous offer from Liverpool to stay at Santos, where he fulfilled his dream of playing for the club.
However, with potential interest from PSG and Barcelona in Liverpool’s current player Luis Diaz, the team may consider parting ways with Diaz and pursuing a transfer for Rodrygo. Liverpool has been a long-time admirer of Rodrygo, and a potential double exit of players from the club could pave the way for bringing him to Anfield.
If an agreement cannot be reached for a contract extension with Diaz, Liverpool may prioritize pursuing Rodrygo as a replacement.
