Man Utd officials ‘set to finalize’ Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho transfers

This article discusses Manchester United’s plans to arrange fresh loan moves for Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho for the upcoming season. According to reports, the club is prepared to sanction loan deals for the two players as they are not part of United’s immediate plans for next season. The decision to loan out Greenwood was made after United conducted an internal investigation in response to public backlash and concerns from fans, women’s support groups, and staff following charges against Greenwood. It is highly unlikely that Greenwood will return to United at the end of the season.

Sancho, on the other hand, is reportedly in talks for a potential loan return to Borussia Dortmund for the next season. There is a possibility of a permanent sale the following year, with the condition that it is a reasonable price. United is open to selling Sancho, but only for a fair value, increasing the likelihood of a second loan exit in the summer. Greenwood’s contract with United expires in 2025, with a possible one-year extension option.

Several clubs, including Inter Milan and Juventus, are reportedly interested in signing Greenwood, but he is said to be content in Spain and prefers to stay in the country.
