Erik ten Hag is the Manchester United manager under severe pressure. He expressed this during his press conference prior to the team’s Premier League clash against Sheffield United.

Before fielding questions at Carrington, he made some pointed remarks, setting a tense tone from the outset. Before being asked any questions, Ten Hag engaged in an awkward exchange with some reporters in the media room.

When he greeted them with “good morning,” some responded with “good afternoon.” Ten Hag corrected them, pointing out that it was still before 12pm and remarked, “I notice not everyone is sharp here.”

During the press conference, Ten Hag continued to be on the offensive, criticizing the media’s coverage of United’s FA Cup victory against Coventry.
