West Ham, along with a few other Premier League teams, is monitoring his situation closely. Vitoria de Guimaraes is willing to sell the 24-year-old for less than his release clause due to his impressive form.

As Jota approaches the final year of his contract, interest in him is increasing. Recent reports suggest that West Ham has sent scouts to watch Jota, who scored in a notable 2-1 win against Porto earlier this month.

Brighton and Fulham are also interested in his potential move to the Premier League as he prepares to leave Portugal this summer. Jota, who earned his first two caps for Portugal during the last international break, has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League.

Despite having a release clause of £17 million, Vitoria de Guimaraes is reportedly willing to lower the price by approximately £7 million to avoid losing him for free in a year. Wolves are also keeping an eye on the winger through their robust Portuguese scouting network.

Jota’s early career included stints in Portugal’s lower leagues with Sousense, Espinho, and Leixoes. If West Ham appoints Sporting boss Ruben Amorim, Jota could be their first overseas recruit.

David Moyes, who led the team to Europa Conference League glory last season, is expected to depart this summer. Jota might fill the void left by Said Benrahma joining Lyon permanently or Paqueta’s potential departure from the London Stadium.
