Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly could take various paths if Mauricio Pochettino needs to be replaced this summer. The pressure is on for Pochettino to deliver a strong finish after a recent disappointing performance, and failure to do so could cost him his job. Express Sport presents five potential managers who could be in contention.

Hansi Flick, a treble winner during his time at Bayern Munich in 2019/20, has an impressive managerial record but has not yet worked in the English game. He has been available since leaving the German national team last year. Jose Mourinho, the bookies’ favorite for a third spell at Chelsea, has an intimate knowledge of the club. He left AS Roma in January and is aiming for a fourth Premier League title.

Ruben Amorim, who is on the verge of securing his second Liga Portugal title with Sporting, is a highly sought-after manager. He recently traveled to London for talks with West Ham, showing interest in a move to the Premier League. Roberto De Zerbi, currently the manager of Brighton, has attracted attention for his attacking style of play. He has resisted attempts to renew his contract, which includes a release clause.

Thomas Tuchel, who has been sacked once by Boehly in the past, might still be considered for a return to Stamford Bridge. Despite his previous dismissal, Boehly may view Tuchel as the right man for the job.
