Man Utd tipped to hire ideal manager to elevate Kobbie Mainoo with ‘no downsides’

Louis Saha wants Manchester United to appoint Zinedine Zidane as the club’s next manager if Erik ten Hag ends up being sacked this summer. Saha believes that Zidane would be a perfect fit for the club with no downsides, especially with the potential ownership change to INEOS. Zidane, who left his second stint at Real Madrid in 2021 after winning three consecutive Champions League titles, has been out of management since then.

The former Red Devils striker sees Zidane’s potential arrival as a significant benefit for young player Kobbie Mainoo, who could learn and grow under the guidance of the legendary midfielder. While Mainoo may be grateful to Ten Hag for his development so far, the prospect of working with Zidane could be particularly exciting for the 19-year-old. If Manchester United were to make a managerial change, Saha sees Zidane as the ideal candidate to lead the team into a new era.

This assessment comes in the context of ongoing rumors about potential changes in the coaching staff at the club.
