UEFA’s extensive Euro 2024 prohibited items list comprises fruits, e-cigarettes, and Nazi symbols.

UEFA is set to approve 26-player squads for Euro 2024. The tournament, scheduled to kick off on June 14 and conclude with the final in Berlin on July 14, will consist of 51 matches across 10 venues. Stringent security measures will be in place, with thorough bag searches and a comprehensive list of banned items, including liquids, drinks, e-cigarette refills, and food of any kind. Additionally, smoking, vaping, and the possession of cannabis joints are not permitted, along with the use of flares, fireworks, whistles, megaphones, and vuvuzela horns.

Any flags or items showing support for Israel or Palestine, as well as Nazi flags, will also be confiscated. Sanctions for those found with forbidden items will be severe, ranging from expulsion from the stadium and potential police involvement to a stadium ban or even being banned from the entire tournament. These measures aim to prevent a repeat of the security issues that marred the final of the delayed Euro 2020 tournament at Wembley. Fans planning to attend Euro 2024 in Germany should take note of these regulations and plan to travel lightly when heading to the stadiums.

Despite the restrictions, traditional German sausages will be available inside the grounds at a reasonable price.
