He has faced fitness challenges this season, making 14 league appearances due to various injuries, yet still managing to score four goals and provide eight assists in the Premier League. Despite this, he is still being sought after by Middle Eastern clubs.

After a disappointing exit from the Champions League, Manchester City is still in contention for a double, with an upcoming FA Cup final against Manchester United. The outcome of this season could influence De Bruyne’s decision to stay or leave the club.

The Athletic reports that Saudi Pro League teams are keen on signing the 32-year-old midfielder as part of their ongoing effort to attract top talent to their league. The league’s sporting director, Michael Emenalo, is leading the pursuit of De Bruyne, citing his potential interest in moving to the Middle East.

The Saudi Pro League’s interest in De Bruyne comes as they continue to target top talents, including Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah. Additionally, other players like West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta and Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala are being linked with Manchester City, potentially as replacements for De Bruyne.
