Arsenal todavía puede realizar cinco acuerdos hoy a pesar de que el plazo de transferencia ha pasado

Mikel Arteta is happy with his current options and squad depth, but that doesn’t mean that the Gunners won’t be active in the coming days as there is still the opportunity for new deals to be agreed upon. Right-back Cedric has only played twice for Arsenal this season, totaling 65 minutes.

Given his contract situation, a mutual termination is also an option for all parties. Mohamed Elneny is another player who will become a free agent at the end of the season.

The Egypt international has struggled for minutes at the Emirates Stadium and a sale would see Arsenal recoup a minor fee for his services if they can find a suitor. A priority over the next few weeks will be securing academy graduate Cozier-Durberry with a new contract.

Talks have been ongoing with the forward this season but an agreement is no closer, and Arsenal will be eager to avoid losing the highly-rated winger as a free agent. Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, and Newcastle are among those interested in the 18-year-old, and he will be in high demand in the summer if he leaves Arsenal.

Jorginho has been linked with a move to Serie A since joining Arsenal. Italian teams will be monitoring his situation closely as his contract expires at the end of the season, unless the Gunners decide to activate the reported one-year extension clause in his contract.

Coming to an agreement over Jorginho’s situation is therefore likely to be a talking point now that the Premier League’s transfer window has closed. With Aaron Ramsdale growing restless on the bench, Arteta could surprise the goalkeeping duo by turning to the free agent market and bringing in former Manchester United star De Gea.

Although incredibly unlikely, stranger things have happened.
