Arsenal is required to change the name of their stadium for every Champions League match due to UEFA sponsorship regulations. This rule also affects Manchester City.

Fans were surprised by UEFA’s pre-match promotion on social media, which referred to the stadium as the ‘Arsenal Stadium’ instead of the Emirates Stadium, due to the naming rights secured by Emirates 20 years ago. Similarly, Atletico Madrid’s Civitas Metropolitano Stadium is changed to the Estadio Metropolitano, and Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium is referred to as the City of Manchester Stadium.

Bayern Munich is currently struggling under Thomas Tuchel, presenting an opportunity for Arsenal to advance to the semi-finals. However, Arteta faces the challenge of balancing their Champions League run with their pursuit of a Premier League title.

With a chance to win their first Premier League title in two decades, Arsenal is currently at the top of the table with tough competition from Liverpool and Manchester City. It is uncertain whether Arsenal will rest players for the match against Bayern.

Arteta has emphasized the strength of Bayern as a top team and the need for thorough preparation to have a chance of winning. Bayern’s individual qualities and the abilities of their players are acknowledged by Arteta, who highlights the importance of collective effort to counter their strengths.
