Liverpool pursues Ruben Amorim, who responds sharply when asked about a potential deal with the Reds.

Ruben Amorim has recently faced questions about his future amidst rumors linking him to Liverpool. The 39-year-old Sporting CP manager has been frustrated by the ongoing speculation.

Reports indicated that he had agreed to move to Liverpool, with the Reds considering him after Xabi Alonso declined to replace Jurgen Klopp. However, Amorim has vehemently denied these claims, stating that he did not meet with Liverpool or reach any agreement.

He emphasized his commitment to Sporting and expressed his desire to stop the discussions about his future. Despite this, Amorim continues to be a strong contender for the Liverpool managerial position.

His success at Sporting has garnered attention from top clubs, including Barcelona. Liverpool initially favored Alonso, but he opted to remain at Bayer Leverkusen, leading to Amorim emerging as a leading candidate.

Additionally, Liverpool has been linked with Roberto Di Zerbi from Brighton, although they reportedly prefer Amorim. Bayern Munich’s interest in Di Zerbi further complicates the managerial landscape.
